 Hot Stone Massage is a specialty massage that is an extension of the Swedish variety. Extraordinarily soothing and calming, this massage employs smooth basalt stones, ranging in size, that are sanitized and heated in water. Once heated, the stones are placed on acupressure locations along the body in order to relax the muscles, dissolve tension, and alleviate stress. The direct weight and warmth of the stones generates an inner feeling of comfort while additional stones are used to actually massage the muscles.

 Thai Massage combines gentle yoga style stretching with a deep pressure massage. It aims to encompass the mind, body and spirit while at the same time providing a truly relaxing experience.

Thai massage differs from other massage styles as it is given on the floor with clients lying on padded mats and pillows. Oils are not used for this therapy and it is recommended that clients wear loose and comfortable clothing.

There are many positive benefits that can result from receiving a Thai Massage. Stress reduction is highly sought after in today’s world and can be achieved with this massage. Improved flexibility and increased energy levels are also known to result from treatments. Circulation problems can be eased with this therapy as well as revitalizing the mind.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy oils, as opposed to fragrance or "perfume oils," are natural, plant-derived oils which are also known as "essential oils." Ahh Shiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy

In Ashiatsu, feet and lower extremities apply deep-tissue compression massage. Ashiatsu means foot pressure, as opposed to shiatsu (meaning finger pressure). It has long been used in India, China, Japan, Tonga, Fiji and Hawaii. Western modalities for Ashiatsu bar therapy have added bars on the ceiling for the therapist’s balance and a table for the client. It enables very deep, relaxing therapy without risking injury or overworking the therapist.

Craniosacral Therapy is one of many terms used to describe a various methods based on fanciful claims that:

• The human brain makes rhythmic movements at a rate of 10 to 14 cycles per minute, a periodicity unrelated to breathing or heart rate.
• Small cranial pulsations can be felt with the fingertips.
• Restriction of movement of the cranial sutures (where the skull bones meet) interfere with the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid (the fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord) and cause disease.
• Diseases can be diagnosed by detecting aberrations in this rhythm.
• Pain (especially of the jaw joint) and many other ailments can be remedied by pressing on the skull bones.

Most practitioners are osteopaths, massage therapists, chiropractors, dentists, or physical therapists. The other terms used to describe what they do include cranial osteopathy, cranial therapy, bio cranial therapy, and two chiropractic variants called craniopathy and sacro occipital technique.
